Dr. Wale Osofisan is the senior director for the governance technical unit at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) UK- a humanitarian and international development organisation. In this role, he leads the unit’s team of senior and technical advisers, specialists and program managers overseeing program support to over 30 IRC country offices in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
Wale has over two decades of professional experience researching and working on humanitarian, development, conflict prevention, and peace building issues. Wale holds a PhD in post conflict recovery and development from the department of politics, University of York U.K. He is a published author and member, editorial board, Journal on Conflict Transformation and Security.
He is married to Feyikemi Osofisan (nee Usidame) an international finance expert and they are blessed with 2 beautiful daughters. He is an honourable member of the 𝐁𝐎𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐒 – La Cuisine Danielle Foundation.
